Brock and Salk return to mornings on Seattle Sports 710 AM

We’re getting the band back together. Mornings once again belong to Brock and Salk on Seattle Sports 710 AM.
Brock Huard is rejoining Mike Salk on the weekday morning lineup from 6-10 a.m., bringing the energetic duo back to the Seattle Sports airwaves with their unparalleled mix of insider access and expert analysis. Brock and Salk previously aired on Seattle Sports from April 2009 to September 2019, and transitioned to a weekly podcast shortly thereafter.
The official return date of Brock and Salk on Seattle Sports will be Tuesday, Sept. 6.
“I am thrilled to come back on the air with Mike Salk, though I feel like I never left,” said Huard. “My heart and passion are for the Pacific Northwest community, its teams, and its fans. On Sept. 6 that daily connection begins again.”

Brock and Salk will kick-start the day of local programming on Seattle Sports 710 AM, followed by Bump and Stacy, hosted by Michael Bumpus and Stacy Rost from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Wyman and Bob, hosted by Dave Wyman and Bob Stelton from 2–7 p.m.

• About Brock Huard: A Puyallup native and University of Washington graduate, Brock Huard earned numerous accolades as a football standout, culminating with his selection as the Gatorade Circle of Champions National Player of the Year. The Seattle Seahawks drafted Huard in the third round of the 1999 NFL Draft, and he spent the first three years of his professional career with the Seahawks before playing for the Indianapolis Colts. He rejoined the Seahawks in 2004 and ended his career that season. Brock has gone on to a successful career as a national college football broadcaster, and he now serves as a color commentator for football games on FOX.
• About Mike Salk: With over a decade of experience with the station, Mike Salk helped launch Seattle Sports (formerly 710 ESPN Seattle) in 2009 and has served as both a morning show host and program director in his time with the station. Mike also worked nationally as a host for ESPN Radio. Before Salk’s career in broadcasting, the graduate of Pomona College worked as a political consultant/lobbyist in Los Angeles. He has recently served on the boards of the Seattle Sports Commission and Lifewire, a non-profit focused on domestic violence prevention. He was also the driving force behind the station’s partnership with Team Up Washington/Coaching Boys Into Men, which helped the organization greatly expand its reach.
