Seahawks waiting to see on Irvin

RENTON – Bruce Irvin is back. Maybe. Hopefully.
After missing last game with an injury to his ribs, Irvin is the player that coach Pete Carroll listed as a question mark as the Seahawks began their official work week on Thursday.
“We have to get Bruce back through the week,” Carroll said. “That’s probably the biggest concern. Otherwise we’re in pretty good shape. We come off the bye very healthy.”
Two players who can be ruled out for Monday’s game are tight end Zach Miller, who underwent ankle surgery last week, and cornerback Tharold Simon, who continues to recover from knee surgery.
“It’s still looks like it’s a couple of weeks before he’ll be ready to go,” Carroll said of Simon. “It’s not because he can’t do a lot of stuff. We want to secure, and make sure he’s well. We don’t want to rush this thing back.”
