The problem for the Seahawks’ offense this season hasn’t been sustaining drives so much as it’s been finishing them. Seattle is 11th in the NFL in yards per game but 25th when it comes to scoring touchdowns from inside the opponent’s 20-yard line.
The Seahawks only got one chance to improve their red-zone percentage Sunday against Philadelphia and they capitalized on it, Russell Wilson finding Marshawn Lynch for a 15-yard touchdown pass early in the third quarter.
Brock Huard breaks that play down in this week’s “Chalk Talk”, explaining how Seattle’s position on the field played into offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell’s play call.
