Athletes, 710 ESPN Seattle personalities react to Hawks’ pick

It’s the play that will long live in infamy in Seattle Seahawks history.
Trailing by four points and sitting at the Patriots’ 1-yard line inside the final minute of Super Bowl XLIX, the Seahawks inexplicably opted to throw on second down rather than hand off to Marshawn Lynch. The pass from Russell Wilson never made it to intended target Ricardo Lockette, as Patriots cornerback Malcolm Butler stepped up and intercepted the ball. That was enough for the Patriots to stave off defeat and put away Seattle for the 28-24 decision.
The play obviously garnered a lot of attention on Twitter. Here are some of the reactions from notable football names and 710 ESPN Seattle show hosts.
If I'm Marshawn I'm livid

I will never understand that play call as long as I live. Marshawn/RW runs it in and the Pats have less than 20 seconds.

That was the worst play call I've seen in the history of football.😞
