Seahawks’ president John Schneider may believe that Marshawn Lynch is leaning toward retirement, but count Beast Mode’s mom as someone who hopes he’s wrong.

Delisa Lynch tweeted that she wants to see her son play at least one more season, but doesn’t know his plans.
I have to admit I want to see my son play at least 1 more year but ..I DO NOT KNOW HIS PLANS SO PLEASE WAIT FOR HIS DECISION AND RESPECT IT!

Reports have doubted Schneider’s retirement comment on Lynch, noting that Lynch could owe the Seahawks up to $5 million in bonus money if he chooses that route.
710 ESPN Seattle’s Brock Huard said Monday that he doubts that scenario would happen.
“They’re not gonna claw him back and take his money,” he said. “Guys retire all the time in this league and the team then can go back if they want to. They’re not gonna go and take any of his signing bonus.”
