RENTON – After selecting Frank Clark and Tyler Lockett with their first two picks then reportedly trying unsuccessfully to move up to the top of fourth round, the Seahawks will enter the final day of the draft with six selections.
They are:
• Fourth round, No. 130
• Fourth round, No. 134 (compensatory)
• Fifth round, 170 (compensatory)
• Sixth round, No. 209 (compensatory)
• Sixth round, No. 214 (compensatory)
• Seventh round, No. 248
Seattle traded four picks on Friday to move up in the third round and take Lockett. A report from Ian Rapoport stated that the Seahawks tried to move up again on Saturday, this time from No. 130 to No. 100, but the Titans instead kept that pick.
Seattle’s reported desire to move to the top of the fourth suggests a trade up is a possibility at some point over the final four rounds. Only two of Seattle’s final six picks can be traded – Nos. 130 and 248 – as teams cannot deal compensatory selections. That means any trade up the Seahawks make on Saturday may involve future draft capital.
