New Seahawks cornerback Cary Williams, who joined the team on a free-agent contract this offseason, talked with the media Tuesday afternoon about his first Organized Team Activity and what he brings to Seattle’s defense.
Here are some quotes from Williams:
(On what’s different about the technique played in Seattle) “It’s more attention to detail. They talk about being more patient. There’s a lot of more intricate things that are different than other places. They’re more focused on the details, like I said, and there’s an emphasis on those things and making sure you focus on those small details on every snap.”
(On the Seahawks’ culture) “This is my fourth stop so the one place I’d compare it to is Baltimore and when I initially got there, the atmosphere was set there – the great leadership we had there. It’s the same thing here. Great coaching, great guys in the locker room, great atmosphere and guys just coming out here competing each and every day and trying to get better.”
