Mariners fans will see a familiar face on ESPN’s “Baseball Tonight” this season.
Former manager Eric Wedge, who left the team at the end of the 2013 season, has joined the rotation for the show, and will make his on-air debut with the network during a sprint training broadcast Tuesday.
He will do commentary on both ESPN television and radio.
Wedge managed the Mariners from 2011 through 2013, accumulating a 213-273 record. Before that, he led the Cleveland Indians for seven years, where he won the 2007 AL Manager of the Year award.
