SEATTLE – The XFL Seattle Dragons have announced an agreement with 710 ESPN Seattle that will make the Bonneville Seattle station the home of Dragons programming and shows beginning Feb. 5.

Seattle Dragons’ Jim Zorn in familiar situation in leading new franchise

“We’re excited to partner with 710 ESPN Seattle and expand our reach to even more great sports fans across the Seattle area,” Dragons President Ryan Gustafson said. “710 ESPN Seattle offers a great opportunity and platform for us to continue to introduce the Seattle Dragons to the Pacific Northwest through a variety of programming and new content as fans get to know who we are and what we’re about.”

As part of the agreement, Dragons Head Coach and General Manager and Seahawks legend Jim Zorn will have a regular weekly segment each Monday during the season on the John Clayton Show. The team will also air a one-hour Dragons insider show hosted by Lydia Cruz each Wednesday night with player segments, opponent reviews and previews and the ability to give fans an inside look at the team and league.

“This is a great opportunity to serve our listeners who love football,” Director of Programming for Bonneville Seattle Mike Salk said. “We are looking forward to partnering of this fun, new adventure.”

Throughout the season, Maura Dooley will serve as the team’s insider and sideline reporter to bring Dragons fans closer to players, coaches and staff who will be featured on regularly scheduled 710 ESPN Seattle programming. Cruz will also host a weekly podcast with contributions from Dooley.

“We are thrilled to partner with the XFL’s Seattle Dragons on 710 ESPN Seattle and with 710sports.com,” Vice President/Market Manager of Bonneville Seattle Dave Pridemore said. “Our goal is to satisfy the Pacific Northwest’s immense appetite and passion surrounding the game of football.”
