Seahawks Football 101: What Wyman would change about defense on Davante Adams’ 1st TD

In the Seahawks’ playoff loss to Packers last Sunday, one player more than any other was a thorn in Seattle’s side.

That would be wide receiver Davante Adams, who caught the first touchdown that gave Green Bay a lead it would never relinquish, added a second TD reception in the second half, and had one of the biggest plays in the Packers’ clinching drive late in the fourth quarter. When the game was over, Adams had caught eight passes from Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers for a game-high 160 yards.

In this week’s Football 101 video, former NFL linebacker and current Seahawks Radio Network color commentator Dave Wyman puts Adams’ first TD catch under the microscope. Wyman breaks down what happened defensively for Seattle on the play, then shows what he would have changed about it.
