Groz’s Just A Minute: Seahawks’ O-line deserves credit in win over Vikings
Dec 3, 2019, 10:52 AM
The Seahawks ran over the Vikings on their way to an important 37-30 win on Monday night, with the tandem of Chris Carson and Rashaad Penny combining for 176 of Seattle’s 218 yards on the ground.

Of course, there usually needs to be an offensive line clearing the way for running backs in a game like that, and that’s exactly where 710 ESPN Seattle’s Dave “The Groz” Grosby’s attention is this week after watching the win over Minnesota.
The Groz also touches on the NFC playoff picture, where the Seahawks currently lead the NFC West with a 10-2 record and tiebreaker advantage over the San Francisco 49ers. Seattle is the No. 2 seed behind the New Orleans Saints in the conference as a whole, and will return to action next Sunday night in a road game against the defending NFC champion Los Angeles Rams, who at 7-5 are trying to sneak their way back into the postseason conversation.
Catch the radio broadcast of that game with a pair of former Seahawks, play-by-play man Steve Raible and color commentator Dave Wyman, at 5:20 p.m. Sunday on 710 ESPN Seattle and KIRO Radio 97.3 FM. Coverage will begin with the pregame show at 2 p.m.
