The UW Huskies may have set the tone for a weekend that was full of strong defensive play from Seattle’s two biggest football teams.
Ahmed has 2 TDs, UW Huskies down Oregon State 19-7
Just like how the Seattle Seahawks’ defensive line took care of business at and behind the line of scrimmage against the San Francisco 49ers on Monday night, the Huskies had similar success three days prior in a low-scoring Friday night win on the road over the Oregon State Beavers.
In the latest edition of Brock Huard’s unPAC, his weekly look at the PAC-12 featuring video breakdowns of specific plays, he starts off by going through three stellar plays by UW Huskies edge rusher Joe Tryon in Corvallis, Ore.
First up is a sack by Tryon, followed by a run stop, then a completed pass that Tryon quickly makes a tackle on before the Beavers can turn it into a big gain.
Finally, Huard takes a look at quarterback Jacob Eason, how teams have been able to frustrate him in recent games and what he can do to combat it.
