The Seahawks returned to practice Wednesday after some time off following last Thursday’s 30-29 win over the Rams, but three players sat out with injury designations.

The most notable name to not practice was left tackle Duane Brown, who has a lingering bicep injury. Brown, who has been dealing with the issue since Seattle’s Week 3 loss to New Orleans, was questionable for the game against the Rams but ended up playing 100% of Seattle’s offensive snaps, just as he did in a Week 4 win over Arizona.

The most notable injury, however, belongs to right guard D.J. Fluker, another veteran member of Seattle’s offensive line. Fluker sat out with a hamstring injury that knocked him out of the game against Los Angeles, and it appears to be fairly serious based on head coach Pete Carroll’s comments in a press conference Wednesday.

“Fluke’s got a hamstring that we’re working on. He can’t practice right now. He’s not ready to go,” Carroll said.

Rookie Jamarco Jones, who had never played right guard, filled in for Fluker and had a nice showing in Week 5. When asked who would fill in for Fluker, however, Carroll responded, “You’ve got to wait and see.”

Ethan Pocic, another backup option at guard for Seattle, was limited in Wednesday’s practice with a mid-back injury. Pocic hasn’t played since Week 2.

The Seahawks had one more player on Wednesday’s injury report: Defensive end Branden Jackson, who has a neck issue, according to the report. Jackson has eight tackles, a sack and two QB hits in five games this season.

Seattle (4-1 record) is gearing up to head to Cleveland on Sunday for a 10 a.m. contest with the Browns. Cleveland is 2-3 and coming off a 31-3 loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Monday.
