‘Hawks Live: Gaming’ NBA 2K19 with Seahawks LT Duane Brown

Could something as wild as this most recent NBA free agency period exist in the NFL?
“Nah, man, nah. I think… nah,” Seahawks left tackle Duane Brown says with a laugh. “I mean it’s hard to do. There’s so much talent across the league and there’s so many moving pieces.”
But that doesn’t mean Brown — just like other NBA fans across the country — wasn’t glued to the moves this offseason. The Seahawks veteran joined 710 ESPN Seattle’s Taylor Jacobs to stream a session of NBA 2K19 for the first episode of “Hawks Live: Gaming,” where the pair talked about NBA greats, expectations for the Seahawks’ season, and life off the field.
“It’s amazing,” Brown said of NBA free agency. “This year’s been one of the most exciting times ever, when you’re just waiting to see where guys are going to sign. Seeing Kawhi (Leonard) and Paul George go to the Clippers, seeing (Anthony Davis) go to the Lakers, Russ (Westbrook) go to Houston, Kyrie and KD go to Brooklyn. It’s wild. It’s great to see. There’s more balance now. Before it was just the Goliath of Golden State, and trying to match up against them. And now you don’t know who’s going to take over.”
Brown also talked about Michael Jordan vs. Kobe, how he became a fan of boxing, his conversations with new Seahawk Jadeveon Clowney, and his favorite TV shows. Watch Brown’s interview (and the stream of his game against Jacobs) in the video above.
