The Dawgs are getting ready for their Aug. 31 season opener against Eastern Washington, but head coach Chris Petersen’s team is making no indication whether Jacob Eason or Jake Haener are in the driver’s seat to replace Jake Browning as the Huskies signal-caller. Brock Huard, himself a former UW quarterback, was joined for the final hour of Tuesday’s edition of Brock and Salk by Jake Heaps, a former NCAA and NFL QB who knows a thing or two about being in a position battle going into a season. So the pair spent a good portion talking about their reads on what is going on at UW, which you can watch in the attached video.
