The Seahawks Saturday signed tight ends Jackson Harris and Wes Saxton, adding depth to a position group that had suffered two recent injuries.

Harris (6-foot-6, 250-pounds) is an undrafted rookie out of Georgia who participated in Seattle’s rookie minicamp earlier this year as a tryout player.

Saxton (6-foot-4, 235-pounds) originally signed with the New York Jets in as an undrafted rookie free agent out of South Alabama. He’s also spent time with Washington, Buffalo, Detroit, and San Francisco, and was most recently with the Birmingham Iron of the Alliance of American Football league.

In a corresponding move, the Seahawks waived/injured tight ends Tyrone Swoopes and Justin Johnson. In addition to Harris and Saxton, the team also has at tight end Will Dissly, Nick Vannett, Ed Dickson, and Jacob Hollister.
