Photos: UW Huskies reveal new Adidas football uniforms

Speculate no more. We now know what the UW Huskies will look like on the football field in 2019 and beyond.
Among the notable features of the new uniform set are:
• White and purple colorways that pay homage to the Huskies’ 1991 Rose Bowl team
• A brand new customized number system inspired by the angles of the university’s “W” logo
• A tonal rain pattern inside the numbers themselves, a nod to the weather in the Pacific Northwest
• Three purple stripes positioned on both sleeve caps of the jersey
The new uniforms are the first branded by Adidas under the company’s 10-year, $119 million deal with the university. It ends 20 years under the Nike umbrella for Washington.
