Mariners recall RHP Chasen Bradford, option RHP David McKay

The Mariners Friday recalled right-handed pitcher Chasen Bradford from Triple-A Tacoma, the team announced. In a corresponding move, right-handed pitcher David McKay was optioned to Triple-A Tacoma.

Bradford, 29, has made 10 appearances for the Mariners this season. He has allowed 14 hits and seven earned runs in 13 and 2/3 innings pitched, and struck out 10. The right-hander will be available for tonight’s game against the Los Angeles Angels. McKay, who was earlier recalled from Triple-A Tacoma on May 19, has appeared in five game for the Mariners. Through five innings pitched, he’s allowed just one earned run and struck out four.
The Mariners will face off against the Angels for the second of a four-game series Friday night. Right-hander Mike Leake (3-6) will get the start for Seattle, while Los Angeles will start left-handed pitcher Tyler Skaggs (4-4).
