RENTON – Seahawks wide receiver Paul Richardson didn’t practice Wednesday, an indication that he may not be progressing from his hamstring injury as quickly as the team hoped.
Coach Pete Carroll said Monday that Richardson has a good chance to return this week after missing the last two games. He said Richardson could even practice without limitation on Wednesday, but he was among the five players who did not participate.
The others were fullback Will Tukuafu, cornerback Marcus Burley, defensive lineman Demarcus Dobbs and defensive tackle Jordan Hill. Tukuafu and Dobbs are going through the league-mandated concussion evaluation and have shown progress, according to Carroll. Burley (ankle) and Hill (toe) were both hurt Sunday.
Cornerback Jeremy Lane (knee) was a full participant. Carroll said he was still sore on Wednesday after playing Sunday for the first time since the Super Bowl. Free safety Earl Thomas (hip) and center Patrick Lewis (knee) were also full participants.
