The Seahawks used their second-to-last pick in the NFL Draft on Travis Homer, a running back out of Miami.

Homer, who was selected 204th overall by Seattle, had 1,995 career rushing yards at Miami. The bulk of that yardage came during his final two seasons, when he took over as a starter for the Hurricanes. Homer averaged six yards per carry in 2018, and finished his final season with a combined 1,171 yards and eight touchdowns.
The selection of Homer pads the running back group of last year’s top rushing offense. Homer will round out a group that also includes Chris Carson, Rashaad Penny, C.J. Prosise, Bo Scarbrough and J.D. McKissic, who doubles as a return specialist.
