Seattle U invited to CIT, will host Presbyterian on Wednesday night

The Seattle U men’s basketball team has been invited to play in the CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament, beginning with an opening-round contest against Presbyterian at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

The Redhawks’ matchup with the Blue Hose will be aired on AM 770 KTTH, beginning with the pregame show at 6:45 p.m. and tipoff at 7 p.m. The game will be hosted by Seattle U in the Redhawk Center.

Coach Jim Hayford’s Seattle U team enters the CIT with an 18-14 overall record and is guaranteed to finish the year with its second straight winning record. With a 6-10 record in Western Athletic Conference play, the Redhawks tied for seventh in the WAC.

Presbyterian, which plays in the Big South Conference, is 18-15 overall.
