Stelton: Why it’s OK for Seahawks fans to root for rival Rams in Super Bowl

The Los Angeles Rams have long been a thorn in the Seahawks’ side.

Even when they were still in St. Louis and not a threat to overtake the Seahawks in the NFC West, the Rams gave Seattle trouble. And this season, two of the toughest losses the Seahawks suffered in their 10-6 were against Jared Goff, Sean McVay and the Rams.
Well, now the Rams are in the Super Bowl, so it should be a no-brainer to root against the Seahawks’ chief rival – right?
Maybe if the New England Patriots weren’t on the other side of the field.
