LISTEN:

The hot-stove talk continues as James Osborn joins me once again for our second Mariners offseason podcast.

It kicks off with a discussion on the signing of catcher Chris Iannetta with thoughts from general manager Jerry Dipoto on why he sees Iannetta as a good bounce-back candidate. We also get into some interesting news on pitcher James Paxton and take a look at how Dipoto could be looking to spend his remaining budget.

You can listen to the podcast here.

The podcast features an interview with the Mariners’ director of international operations, Tim Kissner, who gives us a look at the quick changing world of international scouting and signing. We also hear from Hall of Famer Randy Johnson, who raised the 12th Man flag before the Seahawks game last Sunday.
