The 12th Man will soon have the chance to get up close and personal with the Lombardi trophy and other mementos from the Seahawks’ Super Bowl championship, along with the team’s entire history.
Seattle’s EMP Museum is prepping a new exhibition celebrating the Seahawks called, “We Are 12: The Seattle Seahawks and the Road to Victory.”
It should be pretty comprehensive, considering the museum just happens to be the creation of billionaire Paul Allen, who also happens to own the Seahawks.
Along with the Vince Lombardi Trophy, the exhibition also features other iconic artifacts including a Super Bowl XLVIII ring, a game-used Super Bowl football, uniforms spanning the team’s history, handwritten coaches notes and more.
It will also offer interactive experiences, rich multimedia and exclusive interviews, says museum spokesperson Anita Woo.
“We Are 12” opens to the public on October 14 beginning at 1 p.m., and access to the gallery is included with EMP museum admission. Tickets can be purchased at EMPmuseum.org.
