Stelton: Robinson Canó returns, but he’s not the only bat Mariners should bring back
After 80 games, Robinson Canó finally returns from suspension Tuesday night to the Mariners’ lineup.
There is no doubt that Canó can help the Mariners’ push for the playoffs as an eight-time All-Star who was hitting .287 with an .825 OPS in his 39 games earlier this season. But the Mariners have another option in Triple-A who could also add some offensive punch down the stretch.
In the attached video, Bob Stelton of 710 ESPN Seattle’s Bob, Groz and Tom breaks down Canó’s return and who he thinks should re-join the Mariners along with him.
