Thunderbirds cancel Friday’s preseason game

Here is the press release announcing the cancellation of the Thunderbirds’ preseason game on Friday:
Kent, September 12, 2011 – The Seattle Thunderbirds preseason game Friday, September 16, against the Portland Winterhawks at Winterhawks Skating Center has been cancelled.
Due to injury and players away at NHL Training Camps, the Winterhawks are not able to field a roster for the game.
The T-Birds host the Everett Silvertips at 7:05 p.m. at ShoWare Center on Saturday, September 17, in their last preseason game. Single game tickets for the home preseason game are currently on sale at the ShoWare Center box office and online on the T-Birds website.
The T-Birds will open the 2011-12 regular season against the Portland Winterhawks at ShoWare Center on Saturday, September 24 at 7:05 p.m.
T-Birds single game tickets for the 2011-12 season are available online at the T-Birds website and at the ShoWare Center box office. The ShoWare Center Box Office is open Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday game days at 10 a.m. and Sunday game days at noon.
T-Birds season tickets are currently on sale. Season tickets can be purchased by calling the T-Birds office at 253-239-7825.
