Friday Rewind: The dreadful NFC West

Nov 12, 2010, 4:31 PM | Updated: Apr 4, 2011, 7:47 pm

The race for the NFC West crown heats up this weekend, as the 4-4 Rams head to San Francisco to face the 2-6 49ers, and the 3-5 Cardinals host the 4-4 Seahawks. The implications are steep this weekend, considering the last place 49ers are only two games out of first place in the division.

ESPN NFC West blogger Mike Sando recaped the division midway through the 2010 season, and looked ahead to who has the leg up in the worst division in all of football.

“The Professor” John Clayton talked about the implications of Jenn Sterger’s interview with the NFL, and how it will affect the career of Vikings QB Brett Favre.

WSU blogger for MyNorthwest.com, Bert Klasey told us what it will take for the Cougars football team to win a Pac-10 this year as they travel to Corvallis to face the Oregon State Beavers.

Holly Cain, NASCAR writer for AOL Fanhouse, previewed this weekend’s race in Phoenix, the penultimate before the Sprint Cup finale next weekend at Homestead.

Comedian Greg Fitzsimmons talked about his book “Dear Mrs. Fitzsimmons: Tales of Redemption from an Irish Mailbox,” before his performance tonight at the Parlor Comedy Club.
