Week 14 of the Seahawks Huddle kicked off from the VMAC with The Groz, Dave Wyman, and Ray Roberts.

The Seahawks can make the NFC West division a two-team race this Sunday, as the San Francisco 49ers must win in order to keep their slim playoff hopes alive.

Safety Earl Thomas (top right) is familiar with postseason play, considering he played in the BCS National Championship game for the Texas Longhorns in January. The 21-year-old rookie has shined in his first season in the NFL, where his five interceptions make him a candidate for Defensive Rookie of the Year.

Thomas discussed how he hasn’t shown the effects of hitting the ‘rookie wall’ and how they are preparing for 49ers QB Alex Smith this Sunday.

The voice of the Seahawks, Steve Raible previewed Sunday’s big divisional game in San Francisco, and how the division will hinge on the Week 17 game against the St. Louis Rams.

ESPN NFC West blogger Mike Sando joined the Huddle to discuss why Rams’ rookie QB Sam Bradford is struggling on first downs.

NFL Network broadcaster, Bob Papa previewed the Thursday night game between the Colts and Titans, as quarterback Peyton Manning has struggled lately in throwing 11 interceptions in the last three games.

Shannon Drayer, Mariners reporter for 710 ESPN, reported the latest from the MLB Winter Meetings in Orlando where the team signed veteran catcher Miguel Olivo to a two-year contract.
