While the Seahawks defense and running game have gotten most of the attention, the special teams have been a key part of Seattle’s early season success.

There’ve been plenty of highlights, from a blocked punt against Dallas to Leon Washington’s stellar returns including an 83 yarder against Arizona to John Ryan’s booming punts that consistently pin opponents deep in their own ends, the special teams have been a significant factor in all three of the Seahawks games.

In this video, Bob Stelton and Dave Grosby sing the praises of the special teams and discuss their importance, especially as the Seahawks offense struggles to find its groove in the early going.
