Nominees for 2015 Western Sports Awards announced by Seattle Sports Commission

Nominees for the 81st annual MTR Western Sports Star of the Year awards, a celebration of Washington sports to be held Jan. 21 at Benaroya Hall, have been announced by the Seattle Sports Commission.

The event, which will be hosted by current and former ESPN personalities Kenny Mayne and Cindy Brunson, will award the Male Sports Star of the Year, Female Sports Star of the Year, Seattle Sports Story of the Year, as well as four Sports Star honorees.
