Seahawk’s QB Matt Hasselbeck joined the show this morning, and told the guys about the impact his youth football coach had on their team. “My dad was my little league football coach growing up and I’m sure some of the parents thought you know what, this guys too competitive, he’s too intense, things like that, but you know what we were winning, we were having fun, we were getting better, we were growing, we felt like hey our coach believes in us…”
Hasselbeck also talked about the upcoming season, and the individual workouts he and his teammates are putting in getting ready for training camp. “I think right now the feeling is just great about our team, everyone’s has really put in the effort this offseason…everyone’s been working hard these six weeks on their own, wherever their hometown is, or wherever they’ve been working out, and they kind of get to come back and show off what they’ve done.”
