Clayton Sees Seahawks Turnaround

Aug 6, 2009, 12:50 PM | Updated: Apr 4, 2011, 7:51 pm

As he does every Tuesday and Thursday the Professor joined the show in the 11 o’clock hour. Clayton stopped by with all your NFL news, including plenty of good Seahawks information. John liked the improved defensive line the ‘Hawks had and targeted it as one of the reasons he and people around the league believe the team will have a huge turnaround this season.

“The anticipation is that they probably are going to have at least four more wins and maybe as many as six more wins. I think there is a recognition, as long as Matt Hasselbeck, Walter Jones is healthy and the team stays healthy, that they are not the same team that was injured and battered up like last year.”

Unfortunately not all of Clayton’s news was good. He gave the latest update on the failure to sign Aaron Curry and get him in to training camp.

“I wish I could lobby some encouragement but they are still stalemated as we speak and so it doesn’t look like it is going to happen today.”
