ESPN NFC West blogger Mike Sando came on the program today to discuss the Arizona Cardinals, the Seahawks injuries, and more. One of Mike’s biggest concerns is Matt Hasselbeck’s ability to last the entire season behind an injury plagued offensive line:
“Maybe he really can go the distance, but when you have that type of an injury, I mean, it’s kind of a matter of time before someone tags you again, and maybe you don’t feel good for a couple of weeks.”
As far as this week’s opponent, the Arizona Cardinals, Sando believes two major keys for the Seahawks will be protecting Hasselbeck, and pressuring Kurt Warner. Given Arizona’s less than spectacular pass rusher, and their offensive tackles being run-blocking specialists, those keys to victory seem obtainable.
