Rob Johnson honored Mariners appear to be entering season with him possibly starting

Rob Johnson was on the show today to update us on his status after having three offseason surgeries. Johnson said it is almost certain he will be ready to go once Spring Training begins. When asked about the importance of bringing back Ken Griffey Jr. this season, Rob said:

“I think it’s extremely important, and I think that was probably one of Jack’s mindsets as well bringing Griffey back. I think Griffey’s got some ability left in him for sure. He’s a great leader, a great teammate. He really educates you on little things…He’s a big mentor to a lot of guys.”
