ESPN’s Steve Lavin lent his expert opinion to the show today to help Brock and Salk fill out their brackets.
He told the guys that he expects UW to come out victorious over Marquette because of:
The momentum that the Huskies have going for them. With a great senior in Quincy Pondexter and Isaiah Thomas, some one that seems to step up the larger the stage. And Lorenzo Romar has had experience before in prepping teams and getting them ready for the NCAA Tournament, so I think he’s very familiar and has a slight edge on [Marguette Head Coach] Buzz Williams in terms of coaching because of his experience.
He also picked Gonzaga to topple Florida State because he didn’t think some of the Bulldog’s questionable losses are indicative of the caliber of team they are.
There are many more picks and solid reasoning behind it, including his methodology for filling out his bracket. If you want to win your office pool, the audio below is REQUIRED LISTENING!
