Former Seahawk Robbie Tobeck joined the show to talk about Walter Jones. He believes that Jones is the best Seahawk to ever wear the jersey. When talking about Jones their is no question in Tobeck’s mind:

tobeck

Well there’s no question he’s the greatest Seahawk of all time, I don’t think you can make a case for anybody. The tradition we’ve had with the Seahawks with some of the great players we’ve had, no ones been like Walter Jones. Walt’s one of the greats of all time in the NFL, I think back to college the pros, all the great athletes, unbelievable athletes, that I’ve played with Walts in my top two, I’ve played with Deion sanders who is just a phenomenal freak of nature type of player, and Walter Jones, and I don’t know who I’d rank one above the other, but there definitely in my top two.

Tobeck told a story about watching Walter in the medical room laughing at his shoulder pain, proving he was a different type of player

I remember the first time he hurt his shoulder in practice one day and he can barely move the thing and he’s in there in the training room and I happened to be in there and there lifting his shoulder for him he cant lift it and its just excruciating and you can tell, but instead of crying and screaming like a lot of guys would he just starts laughing and he’s laughing at the pain in his shoulder and ill never forget it, I sat there thinking your literally laughing at pain at something anybody else would be on their knees with, he’s just a tough man.

Tobeck continued to stress that Jones was one of the best players in the NFL. Listen to the whole interview for more praise on Jones.
