ESPN football analyst John Clayton had some thoughts on disgruntled Redskins defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth, who isn’t happy with the new defense and wants out of Washington.
Clayton agrees with Redskins linebacker London Fletcher, who says Haynesworth’s actions are selfish. With the Redskins asking price likely lowered to a 5th round draft pick, Clayton thinks that trading for Haynesworth would make sense for Seattle, a team that needs to improve its pass rush. He said despite the perception that the move would be a huge monetary risk, if Haynesworth doesn’t work out in Seattle the Seahawks could cut him without a huge loss of money.
