I love the Seahawks’ D.J. Fluker signing and I don’t really care how Pro Football Focus rated him. He is a huge dude who can physically move people. Combine that with a rumored 30-pound gain for Ethan Pocic and I think we can see new offensive line coach Mike Solari wants size up front.

Good! Maul and move people and then let Russell Wilson run play action. If they really are able to run the ball, Fluker’s pass protection deficiencies should be marginalized because they’ll throw more off the play action.

This is exactly what I was looking for in free agency – a veteran player who knows how to play a tough position and can help the Seahawks be who they say they want to be. Combine him with Ed Dickson at tight end (instead of Jimmy Graham) and their ground game almost has to be better.

Now, who is going to run the ball behind him?
