The Seahawks are looking at potential draft picks at the annual NFL scouting combine, but that’s apparently not the only thing they are doing.
Defensive end Michael Bennett is reportedly being shopped in trade talks by the Seahawks in Indianapolis, according to ESPN’s Brady Henderson.

Bennett, 32, is under contract with Seattle through 2020, though there is an out clause in his deal after the 2018 season, according to Spotrac.com. He is set to have a cap hit of $8.3875 million this year.
Bennett told the Tacoma News Tribune’s Gregg Bell at the end of the 2017 season that he “probably won’t be back next year” with the Seahawks.
The Texas A&M alum is a three-time Pro Bowler, each nomination coming in the last three seasons. He returned to Seattle in 2013 after a tenure with Tampa Bay, helping solidify the Seahawks’ defensive line as they went on to win the Super Bowl over the Denver Broncos, then returned to the Super Bowl the next season.
Bennett started all 16 games for the Seahawks in 2017, making 8.5 sacks and 25 tackles.
