Mayor announces season ticket drive for potential NHL team in Seattle
Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan announced Tuesday that a season ticket drive for a potential NHL team in Seattle will begin at 10 a.m. on March 1, confirming a report last week by KIRO Radio 97.3 FM’s Mike Lewis.
A website – www.NHLSeattle.com – has been launched by OVG Seattle, the group that will renovate the current KeyArena at Seattle Center. According to the site, season ticket deposits will be $500 for season tickets and $1,000 for club season tickets.
The next great moment in Seattle sports history is right around the corner.

Durkan previously announced on Feb. 13 that OVG Seattle had submitted its application for an expansion team to the NHL.
The prospective Seattle NHL team has a target date of beginning play in the 2020-21 season in a revamped Seattle Center arena, which is set to start renovation in 2018.
