The Seattle Seahawks are finally heading across the pond.
The NFL announced its 2018 London schedule Thursday morning, and the Seahawks are slated to play the Oakland Raiders for a Week 6 road game on Sunday, October 14.

While Seattle’s London contest is designated as a road game, it could also mean a longer break from CenturyLink: teams that play in the UK typically arrive several days prior and have a bye week following the game. To cut down on unnecessary travel time, the league may give Seattle an East Coast road game the week before (the Carolina Panthers seem a top candidate in this case).
Prior to 2018, the Seahawks were one of six teams who had not played in London, in addition to Philadelphia, Green Bay, Carolina, Tennessee, and Houston.
