Malik McDowell, the Seahawks’ top pick in the 2017 NFL Draft who has yet to see the field with the team due to injury, was arrested Sunday morning in Atlanta, reports TMZ.

According to TMZ, McDowell was arrested for disorderly conduct following an altercation over money at a club called SL Lounge.

McDowell, a defensive tackle, was selected in the second round (35th overall) of this year’s draft out of Michigan State. Multiple injuries suffered in an ATV accident have kept him from even making the practice field for Seattle, however, and it has not been expected that he would be able to play this season.

Update: McDowell shared a statement on his Twitter account Monday afternoon apologizing for the situation Sunday morning.
