Gee Scott: Jacob Sirmon, Colson Yankoff names to know for life after Jake Browning at UW

At some point there will be life after Jake Browning. With that in mind, there are two potential Husky recruits I want to introduce you to: Jacob Sirmon and Colson Yankoff.
Sirmon is a four-star QB from Bothell HS. It will take just one throw from him for you to see how strong his arm is. Not only that, he has a tremendous ability to throw the deep ball with accuracy. I spent this past spring with him on the 7-on-7 circuit, and I was able to see him study film with the same amount of tenacity that he displays on the field.

Yankoff is also a four-star QB, hailing from Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho. In one game last season he ran for 3 touchdowns and threw for two more, so you know he’s a dual-threat and a straight-up baller. He’s got excellent speed and goes through his progression quite well.
The most important thing about these two is that they have given their verbal commitment to UW and are considered an “OKG” (that’s Chris Petersen’s term, standing for Our Kinda Guy). These two QBs will have to battle current freshman Jake Haener should they eventually arrive in Montlake.
