An important point of emphasis for the Seahawks in 2017 is getting more big plays from their defensive tackles, according to 710 ESPN Seattle’s Dave Wyman. With rookie Malik McDowell unavailable for at least part of the season following an ATV incident, Seattle needs others on the line to stand out.

Another rookie, Nazair Jones, did exactly that on one particular play in last Sunday’s 48-17 preseason win over the Chargers.
