Seahawks’ Russell Wilson chosen first overall in Pro Bowl draft

Quarterback Russell Wilson was the first overall pick in the Pro Bowl draft Wednesday night, one of three Seahawks to go in the top 10. Cornerback Richard Sherman went fifth and defensive lineman Michael Bennett went ninth.
Under the format that was impleneted in 2014, Hall of Famers Jerry Rice and Michael Irvin determine the Pro Bowl rosters by drafting players who were selected to the game. The previously format was AFC players versus NFC players.

Wilson, Sherman and Bennett will play for Team Irvin while Seahawks linebacker Bobby Wagner and kick returner Tyler Lockett will play for Team Rice. Wagner and Lockett were among the pre-selected picks.
Here are the rosters for each team. The game is Sunday at 4 PST on ESPN.
Seahawks safeties Earl Thomas and Kam Chancellor were also selected to the Pro Bowl but opted not to play.
