James Paxton will indeed be making his return to the mound at Safeco Field on Wednesday night, as the Mariners have activated him from the 10-day disabled list ahead of their 7:10 game against the Colorado Rockies on 710 ESPN Seattle.

Paxton, 28, is set to start Wednesday, which will be his first appearance since he hit the DL with a forearm strain after going 5 1/3 innings in his May 2 start against the Angels. He was among the best pitchers in the MLB over the first month, opening the season with a scoreless streak of 23 innings. In six games in 2017, the big lefty from British Columbia has a 3-0 record with a 1.43 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and 45 strikeouts over 37 2/3 innings.

Harper, 28, didn’t appear in a game for Seattle after being called up on Sunday.

Here is the Mariners’ lineup:

Jean Segura, SS
Ben Gamel, RF
Robinson Cano, 2B
Nelson Cruz, DH
Kyle Seager, 3B
Danny Valencia, 1B
Guillermo Heredia, LF
Jarrod Dyson, CF
Mike Zunino, C

James Paxton, LHP
