Kevin asked Spencer in studio about what he thought the chances were that we might one day get a team to return the Emerald City. His response was quite optimistic saying “I think it’s only a matter of time. There is too good of a fan base, there are too many basketball fans, and it is too good of a market.” Listen to his full answer HERE.
Spencer also came to promote the charity he is holding for his friend and former Husky athlete Andrew Moritz. Moritz has been diagnosed with Desmoplastic Small round Cell Tumor which is a very rare type of cancer that has affected less than 100 people worldwide. The event is called “Pasta Feed ’09” for Rock-N-Roll Seattle Marathoners at the University of Washington’s Shellhouse. It will be held at 4pm & 6pm on Friday June 26th. For more details, check out their website for more information.
