Seahawks Insider Clare Farnsworth joined Kevin on the show today to give us his perspective on how training camp has gone for the Hawks so far this year.
Farnsworth talked about how injuries to Marcus Trufant, Walter Jones, and Ray Willis have impeded the Seahawks from running at full speed, saying, “The biggest concern, I think Jim Mora even addressed this…right now is the health of the team, and especially on the offensive line, the fact that they cant get the guys that they want out there. And thats kind of impeding putting in the zone blocking for the running game, and giving Matt Hasselbeck the time to get the ball to all these wide receivers.”
Farnsworth also talked about how Mora is looking to avoid the injury bug that plagued the team last year, “As Mora said…that’s the biggest concern–can we escape the kind of injuries we had last year.”
