Pitino Fiasco

Kevin gave us his take today on the Rick Pitino story that broke with a report about him comitting adultery and paying for a woman’s abortion in 2003. He says that Pitino deserves a second chance, but not without some serious reconciling.

Adam Neft of the Underdog Sports Show in Louisville,Kentucky joined Kevin on the show today to talk about the Pitino situation. He informed us that Pitino actually already held a five minute press conference, but it wasn’t quite how Kevin suggested he hold it, saying, “I was kind of surprised the family wasnt there( the press conference), or somebody to kind of soften the blow.”
Neft also informed us that several Louisville fans are not happy with Pitino, saying, “There were people lining up on the show today, you know, adamant Louisville fans who will go to the mat for anything the university does or says… And they were saying enough is enough, he’s got to go. He can’t be above this.”
