University of Washington Men’s Basketball Coach Lorenzo Romar joined us on the show today to talk about how well the team came together last year, the progression of senior Quincy Pondexter, and more.

Romar expects big things from Pondexter this year, saying, “Now he’s a senior, and he’s ready to take this team.”

He also talked about what the team will need to do this year in order to be as successful as last year, saying, “I think we’ve got some talented players, were going to have to start all over it’s a different makeup(than last year). We’re going to have to bring this team together–and I think our guys are willing to come together and become the best team that we can possibly be.”
